Super Bowl 58 will be Patrick Mahomes’ fourth start in the NFL’s biggest game in six seasons as a starter. He has a reputation as the best quarterback in pro football, and, usually, everything comes up “Mahomes” because of it.
But that doesn’t mean he can always control how he’s portrayed in public, especially by NFL media.
A new video from NFL Films/Inside the NFL shows off the Kansas City Chiefs’ postgame locker room after winning last Sunday’s AFC title game. When the camera cut to Mahomes as he started speaking, he wasn’t wearing a shirt, which is probably expected in an NFL locker room right after a game. You’d think nothing of it otherwise if no one drew your attention to it.
More work left to be done for Mahomes and the @Chiefs 🗣

Except Mahomes caught wind of the video on Twitter and thought he was shown in an unflattering light, likening his own appearance to having a “dad bod.” Oh no.
Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? 🤣🤣🤣 #DadBodSZN
