We've signed four more players to future contracts. ⬇️

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are building up their camp and practice squad rosters for the 2024 NFL season.
The team added four more futures players to an already-extensive list on Tuesday, further linking their young practice squad and training camp talent back to Tampa Bay. By signing futures reserves contracts, linebacker Vi Jones, longsnapper Evan Deckers, tackle Eric Banks and defensive tackle Lwal Uguak all guarantee that their Bucs contract will begin in March during the new league year.
Jones and Deckers are no strangers to Tampa Bay, having spent time on the team’s practice squad roster. The Bucs eventually kept up with longsnapper Zach Triner, but Deckers was recently signed to the practice squad again toward the end of the year when Deckers suffered a shoulder injury — Triner would remain the team’s longsnapper. Jones was signed when Tampa Bay’s linebacker depth took a hit after Lavonte David was injured against the San Francisco 49ers and Devin White was hurt as well, and he’s had two different stints on the practice squad.
Banks and Uguak, however, are new. Banks has jumped around quite a bit, but he was most recently with the Arizona Cardinals since 2022 and has played in three games for them since. Uguak comes from the Canadian Football League after playing at UConn and TCU in college, and he won a Grey Cup with the Montreal Alouettes this year.
