Texans QB C.J. Stroud named to 2024 Pro Bowl

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud will replace Patrick Mahomes in the Pro Bowl Games this year.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud will replace Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Stroud will join teammates offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. He also became the first rookie quarterback to make the Pro Bowl since Mac Jones in 2021.

Stroud set the NFL world on fire this year after he finished the regular season with 21 passing touchdowns and just five interceptions on almost 4,000 passing yards. He led the Texans to their first AFC South title since 2019 and then in a win over the Cleveland Browns in the wild card. While he didn’t fare well against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional round, Stroud proved he has a solid future in the NFL.

He is a favorite to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year as well after he and fellow first-round draft pick Anderson won the PFWA awards.
