Matthew Stafford made the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career this season, but he won’t be participating in the festivities in Orlando. The Seattle Seahawks announced on Tuesday that Geno Smith has been added to the NFC roster for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, replacing Stafford. No reason for Stafford’s withdrawal was given, but it’s likely due to injury, as was the case for Aaron Donald.
With Stafford and Donald out, that leaves Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams as the Rams’ only other Pro Bowl participants this year.
This season, Stafford threw 24 touchdown passes and only 11 interceptions, averaging 264.3 yards per game with a passer rating of 92.5. The only other season he was selected to the Pro Bowl was in 2014 when he had 22 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions.
