Once again, the LSU women’s basketball team will be the hottest ticket in town.
The Tigers are in Starkville on Monday night for a battle between two of the top teams in the SEC as they take on Mississippi State, and it will be a sellout crowd in the Humphrey Coliseum. That will extend LSU’s true road game sellout streak, which has gone on all season.
Women’s college basketball is clearly growing in popularity as evidenced by both these sales numbers and the television rating trends. LSU, which features one of the sport’s biggest stars and NIL earners in Angel Reese, is at the forefront of that growth.
LSU’s streak of either playing in front of record crowds or soldout arenas on the road will continue. Every true road game this season. https://t.co/C5uKk3ocxV
