It’ll be a marquee matchup between the two top teams in the Western Conference standings. The Oklahoma City Thunder return home to start a four-game homestand by welcoming in the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Both teams enter relatively healthy outside of one significant question mark for Minnesota. Mike Conley (hamstring soreness) is questionable for the game.
Other Timberwolves players listed are Jaylen Clark (Achilles tendon rupture rehab), Leonard Miller (G League assignment) and Josh Minott (G League assignment). All are out.
Meanwhile, the Thunder have a clean bill of health. Only Ousmane Dieng (G League assignment) is listed as out.
The Thunder (32-14) hope to wash away the nasty taste of their worst loss of the season to the lowly Detroit Pistons on Sunday by playing the second half of this road-and-home back-to-back.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves (32-14) have a chance to retake first place in the Western Conference standings after an ugly loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
This will be the fourth and final matchup between the two top teams: OKC has won two of the first three games. The last time these teams met, Anthony Edwards failed to hit three free throws in the Thunder’s win on Jan. 20.
Tip off from Oklahoma City is set for 7 p.m. CT on Monday.
