The Tennessee Titans are officially in the second and what should be final phase of their head coaching search, as the team has begun to interview candidates for a second time, giving us insight into who the finalists are.
The Titans initially had a list that included 11 head coach candidates, but you can cross two of them off.
Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson apparently did not take the interview after speaking with five other teams, and the Las Vegas Raiders removed the interim head coach tag from Antonio Pierce.
The nine candidates who are still available and have completed one interview with the Titans are Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and former Stanford head coach David Shaw.
