The Falcons are expected to hold a second interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan for their head coach vacancy, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported on Sunday afternoon.
Callahan was one of the first coaches interviewed by Atlanta, and while he hasn’t drawn much national attention, his name appears to be heating up as a head coach candidate.
According to Pelissero, Callahan will schedule interviews with both the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans later this week.

Callahan has been the Bengals offensive coordinator since 2019. Not only did he help develop Joe Burrow into a league MVP, but he got the most out of backup Jake Browning this season when Burrow went down.
The Falcons are also expected to interview Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik on Sunday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. The team has officially interviewed 11 candidates thus far and a handful of others are expected over the coming week.
