The Atlanta Falcons’ search for a new head coach may go a little bit longer than anticipated. While team owner Arthur Blank said there was no timetable for their process, many NFL insiders think that former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will end up in Atlanta.
Even though it seems like a foregone conclusion at this point, the Falcons are at least trying to make it seem like they have yet to make a decision.
Shortly after it was revealed that Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh would be getting a second interview, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported that former Titans coach Mike Vrabel has an in-person interview scheduled with Blank next Wednesday.
After his in-person meeting with the Chargers on Thursday, Mike Vrabel is scheduled to continue his tour next Wednesday with an in-person meeting in Atlanta with Arthur Blank and other key members of the Falcons organization, sources say.
