RB Kareem Hunt: Browns’ Super Bowl ‘is my only hope’

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt says a Browns Super Bowl is his only hope

Exit interviews are occurring in Berea after a disappointing loss to the Houston Texans to end the Cleveland Browns’ season. Players are speaking to the media before starting their offseason journies. For some players, this will be the last time they talk to the media as a part of the Browns’ organization. One such player is the hometown hero, Kareem Hunt.

Hunt returned to the Browns and helped revitalize a team distraught over the injuries to Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson. His energy and joy helped the team come together. His energy was infectious, and one could see how the rest of the team responded to it.

Hunt spoke to the media on Sunday about what the team and city mean to him. Hunt told reporters that a Browns’ Super Bowl, “…is my ultimate hope, no matter whateven if I’m playing for another team.”

It’s still too early to tell if Hunt will be brought back for another season with the Browns. The running back is an important team leader, and the locker room loves him. However, the Browns have three running backs contracted for next season. Hopefully, the Browns can find a way to bring back Hunt in any capacity they can.
