Social media criticizes Robert Griffin III’s uninformed take suggesting the Cowboys hire Deion Sanders

Despite Deion Sanders expressing no desire to coach in the NFL, Robert Griffin III suggested the Cowboys hire Coach Prime

After Sunday’s brutal NFC wild-card round loss to the Green Bay Packers, all signs point to the Dallas Cowboys firing head coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys won 12 games in each of the past three seasons under McCarthy, but another early postseason exit should spell change in Dallas.

In turn, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III posted a video on X suggesting the Cowboys hire Colorado head coach Deion Sanders.

Griffin, however, failed to acknowledge that Coach Prime has repeatedly expressed that he doesn’t want to coach in the NFL. Additionally, his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, are set on playing another college season with the Buffs.
