It was another disappointing effort for the USC Trojans men’s basketball team on Wednesday night at the Galen Center. Coming off back-to-back wins over Cal and Stanford, the Trojans lost to Washington State, 72-64.
Once again, there was a lot to unpack from this game, but the biggest surprise was the play of Bronny James. The son of LeBron James went scoreless in 16 minutes of play, going 0-for-3 from the field and adding just two rebounds and one assist in a no-show.
James now has two points combined over the past two games following back-to-back double-digit scoring performances, so this is a step back for the young guard.
The Trojans in general struggled offensively. Boogie Ellis and Isaiah Collier were the only ones in double figures and combined for 30 of the team’s 64 points on the night.
The Trojans will travel to face the Colorado Buffaloes on the road in a tough game on Saturday night.
