This past seasons Notre Dame running back [autotag]Audric Estime[/autotag] ran for 1,341 yards with 18 touchdowns.
It’s the type of season where the junior back dominated the competition in every game. Career highs all across the board should have gotten Estime in invitation as a finalist for the Doak Walker Award, but he was snubbed.
However Pro Football Focus released its running back grades and Estime topped the charts. According to their metrics, he was the best in the nation, something many Irish fans believed as the season went on. Even if he didn’t get nation recognition for his efforts, PFF knew how great he was.

The huge season pushed Estime to leave to the NFL, where he should get selected fairly high and have a productive career at the highest level.
