The Jets could potentially play overseas in the 2024 season. The NFL announced the four “home” teams for the 2024 international games, of which three will be played in London, England and one will be in Munich, Germany.
Two of the Jets’ nine road opponents for next season were among the teams announced as hosts — the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams will host games in London. The Chicago Bears will also host a game in London while the Carolina Panthers will play in Munich.
The NFL has announced 4 home teams for an international game in 2024:
Panthers: Munich
Bears: London
Jaguars: London
Vikings: London— Field Yates (@FieldYates) January 11, 2024
The Jets last played overseas during the 2021 season when they went to London to face the Atlanta Falcons. The Jets lost 27-20.
The Jets have played two international games and are 1-1 all time. They beat the Miami Dolphins back in 2015.
Thanks to the league’s growing global efforts and with the help of the 17-game schedule, each team will play at least one international game over an eight-year period. Time will tell if 2024 is that time again for the Jets.
