New seasons of two of the WWE series on A&E are on the way back with new episodes just in time for the Road to WrestleMania. Both “WWE Rivals” and “Biography: WWE Legends” will return with new episodes on Sunday, Feb. 25. at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 9 p.m. ET/PT, respectively.
Freddie Prinze Jr., someone who knows more than a bit about famous wrestling feuds as a former WWE writer, is back as the moderator for the roundtable discussions at the heart of “WWE Rivals.” The season premiere will focus on Triple H vs. The Rock in the early 2000s.
Other rivalries that will be featured in the new season include:
- Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage
- The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
- John Cena vs. Randy Orton
- Hardy Boyz vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Edge and Christian
- The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan
“Biography: WWE Legends” also has an intriguing mix of subjects planned for its new season. While the premiere will dive into the life and career of someone still very much active, Randy Orton, upcoming episodes will be devoted to Sgt. Slaughter, Scott Hall, Diamond Dallas Page and British Bulldog. Perhaps most intriguing of all, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will also get an episode this season.
All episodes of both series will be available on demand, and will be archived for streaming at aetv.com and on the A&E app.
