Texas A&M (9-6, 0-2 SEC) fell to No. 16 Auburn Tigers (13-2, 2-0) at Neville Arena on Tuesday night, losing their second SEC game in a row.
The Aggies were plagued by self-inflicted turnovers and their second consecutive game of shooting below 30% from the field. They played hard against an elite eight type of squad in the No. 16 Auburn Tigers but ultimately came up short.
While it’s not time to hit the panic button, the offensive issues and perimeter defense need to take a step forward. Coach Buzz Williams spent the majority of the post-game interview discussing how they played better as a team but still have some things to work on.
“I thought that our level of togetherness.. were sensitive to what we were hearing in regards to only our voices. I don’t think that we gave emotion that we have to have or energy that’s required of us to something we couldn’t control”

Texas A&M will return home to face the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats on January 13th at 1:00 pm CT at Reed Arena.
