[autotag]Kaz Grala[/autotag] will not return to the No. 26 Xfinity car for Sam Hunt Racing after competing full-time during the 2023 NASCAR season. To this point, Grala has yet to make any announcements about his plans for the 2024 season. However, the 25-year-old driver has been connected to a rising team in the NASCAR Cup Series.
According to Motorsport.com’s Nick DeGroot, there has been a lot of discussion about Grala running most, if not all, of the 2024 Cup Series season with Rick Ware Racing. The organization is one of two teams in the Cup Series that has yet to announce plans for one of its entries. The other is Kaulig Racing and its No. 16 car.
Rick Ware Racing hasn’t announced its plans for the No. 15 car, but Justin Haley will drive the No. 51 car full-time. As for Grala, this would be a big opportunity as Rick Ware Racing is trying to improve at NASCAR’s top level. With time running out before the start of the new campaign, there should be an announcement sooner rather than later.
