Colorado women’s basketball closing out road trip at Arizona State

No. 5 Colorado is looking for a road sweep of the Pac-12’s Arizona schools

The No. 5 Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team (12-1, 2-0 Pac-12) is streaking as it heads into its next Pac-12 matchup against the Arizona State Sun Devils (8-6, 0-2) on Sunday. With a win in Tempe, Colorado can push its winning streak to seven games, but it would also end some bad streaks.

After Friday’s win against the Arizona Wildcats, Colorado’s first victory in Tucson since 2015, the Buffs have the opportunity to sweep the Arizona road trip for the first time since 2012-2013. A win on Sunday would also give CU a 3-0 conference record for the first time since 1996-97.

The Sun Devils, much like the Buffaloes, have a balanced scoring attack, with four players averaging 8.9 or more points per game. ASU is led by a trio of attacking guards in sophomores Jalyn Brown (14.4 PPG), Trayanna Crisp (11.6 PPG) and senior guard Jaddan Simmons (12.1 PPG).

You can catch Sunday’s game on the Pac-12 Network at noon MT.
