Coby White passes Scottie Pippen on Chicago Bulls all-time list

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White climbed the team’s all-time three-point list, passing Scottie Pippen on Friday.

The 2023-24 season has been a resurgence for former North Carolina Tar Heels guard Coby White. After some struggles with the Chicago Bulls in the first few years of his career, White is turning things around.

And he’s doing so in a big way.

The guard is averaging 17.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 44 percent from the field. He’s also shooting 39.3 percent from the three-point line, putting together a career year overall for the Bulls.

On Friday, in a win over the Charlotte Hornets, White moved up the Bulls’ all-time three-point list. He finished the game with 22 points and made 3 of his 6 attempts, which saw him pass Scottie Pippen on the list:

With 665, he’s now fourth all-time behind Kirk Hinrich, his current teammate Zach LaVine and Ben Gordon. White should catch Gordon within the next year and depending on what happens with LaVine and a potential trade, he might get to second eventually.
