Champions Circle announces Those Who Stay NIL fund to lure Michigan football returnees

Gotta get some of these key players back next year! #GoBlue

Around this time last year, the One More Year Fund was announced by Valiant Management.

The goal of the name, image and likeness initiative was to help bring back some star players for another year of Michigan football. It was a rousing success. Running back Blake Corum, cornerback Mike Sainristil, offensive guards Zak Zinter and Trevor Keegan, defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, wide receiver Cornelius Johnson, linebacker Mike Barrett and others chose to return to Ann Arbor for another year.

Now, Champions Circle, a collective run by Valiant Management, has announced a similar initiative. Called Those Who Stay, after Bo Schembechler’s saying “those who stay will be champions,” fans and well-wishers can donate to the fund to help lure elite talent that could have otherwise gone to the NFL.

We need your help to keep our team.

Last year, Champions Circle® launched the One More Year Fund to support key Michigan players like Blake Corum, Trevor Keegan, and Zak Zinter who elected to return to Michigan for One More Year.

Now, we’re launching the Those Who Stay NIL Campaign.

Our rivals are coming after many of our key players, trying to induce them to leave Michigan.

It’s time for Michigan Family to show our players how much we appreciate them and want them back in Maize and Blue!

To keep the momentum going, please contribute now.

Among those to be likely targeted are quarterback J.J. McCarthy, wide receiver Roman Wilson, running back Donovan Edwards and linebacker Junior Colson.
