How to Watch/Listen/Stream: No. 16 Clemson vs. No. 8 North Carolina

Here’s how Clemson fans can watch, stream, and listen to Saturday’s game against North Carolina.

After its Wednesday night loss at Miami, No. 16 Clemson faces a quick turnaround — and arguably the ACC’s toughest competition — when the Tigers host No. 8 North Carolina Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The matchup will be one of the toughest the Tigers (11-2 overall, 1-1 conference) figure to face all season.

North Carolina (10-3 overall, 2-0 conference) features one of the nation’s best big men in 6’11” center Armando Bacot, who on Tuesday became just the seventh player in program history to record 2,000 career points in the Tar Heels’ gritty 70-57 win at Pitt.

Coach Hubert Davis’ team is aiming for another deep March run just two years after finishing as runner-up to national champion Kansas. Many believe this Carolina squad, with Bacot averaging 14.9 points per game and RJ Davis averaging a team-best 21.1, have the star power to make it happen.

Clemson, meanwhile, is hoping for a better effort over a full 40 minutes. Despite a promising first half that saw the Tigers take a 41-35 lead into intermission against Miami, Clemson wilted against a blistering Hurricanes offense in the second half of a 95-82 loss.

After the game, Clemson coach Brad Brownell said that he didn’t think his team had been tough enough.

“We just did not have a lot of grit and toughness and staying power in the game,” Brownell said. “We did not get the game grinding enough at times.”

According to the statistical website Sports-Reference.com, North Carolina has won 41 of the last 49 meetings against Clemson dating back to January 1998. The Tigers’ last win in the series came at Littlejohn Coliseum in February 2021 in a 63-50 victory.
