Redshirt senior wide receiver Bru McCoy announced he is returning to Tennessee in 2024.
“Let’s run it back,” McCoy announced. “Thank you Vol nation for all the love and support, especially since my injury. This place and team is special and I truly believe the best is yet to come! Go Vols.”
McCoy suffered a season-ending fracture-dislocation of his right ankle in the second quarter versus South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2023.
He appeared in five games for the Vols in 2023, recording 17 receptions, 217 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
Tennessee (9-4, 4-4 SEC) concluded its 2023 season by defeating Iowa (10-4, 7-2 Big Ten), 35-0, Monday in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
