The Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Minnesota Timberwolves are all very good ball clubs so far this season. But one thing they are not is the team with the best winning percentage in the NBA right now, nor are they the team at the top of Jason Timpf’s power rankings this week for his “Hoops Tonight with Jason Timpf” podcast.
That honor falls to the league-best Boston Celtics, who find themselves sitting pretty heading into the new year in Timpf’s estimation. Per the podcast host, beating the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers proves they are the NBA’s best regular season team right now.
The Celtics look positioned to be the team to beat in the league’s Eastern Conference as 2024 arrives.
