Everything Hugh Freeze said after losing to Maryland in the Music City Bowl

It is safe to say this is not how Hugh Freeze was hoping to end his first season on the Plains.

Auburn’s loss to Maryland was a disappointing end to [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag]’s first season on the Plains. Auburn dropped to 6-7 with the loss and suffered the program’s third straight losing season, their first time doing so since 1975-77.

The Tigers were not ready for the Terrapins’ hot start, falling behind 21-0 in the first quarter. Relying on several inexperienced players, the defense was able to rally and hold them to just 3 more points on offense during the rest of the game but it wasn’t enough as Auburn’s offense was unable to get them back into the game.

Freeze met the media after the game to discuss what happened, the quarterback competition and how his first year went. Here is a look at everything he said.
