The season for rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is likely over as the Cleveland Browns have placed him on Injured Reserve.
Relieving quarterback Joe Flacco in garbage time of a blowout win against the Houston Texans, Thompson-Robinson was hit as he threw, and he got up limping. After the second-teamers on the defensive side of the ball gave up two straight scores to the Texans, the starters went back into the game.
Thompson-Robinson was then diagnosed with a hip injury and has since been shelved for the rest of the season. Needing to miss at least four games, there is a chance the rookie could make a return should the Browns make a deep run in the playoffs.
Replacing him, the Browns have once again signed P.J. Walker off of the practice squad to the active roster to serve as the backup quarterback the rest of the way out. Look for the Browns to now add another quarterback to their practice squad as well.
