There is a new favorite to win MVP following the Baltimore Ravens’ 33-19 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas Day.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is now the favorite to take home the MVP award, overtaking 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

Jackson finished the game with 252 passing yards and two touchdowns while completing 23 of 35 passing attempts and adding another 45 yards on the ground on seven rushing attempts.

Baltimore Head Coach John Harbaugh commented on Jackson’s performance following the game.

“I thought Lamar had an MVP performance tonight,” Harbaugh said. “It takes a team to create a performance like that, but it takes a player to play at that level … Lamar was all over the field doing everything.”

This would be Jackson’s second MVP award of his career. As usual, Jackson brushed off the MVP chatter following the game.

“We got the dub,” Jackson said. “I don’t really care about the performance I just wanted to win.”
