A former Nebraska running back has announced his transfer destination.

A former Nebraska running back announced his transfer destination. Isaiah Harris will transfer to Nebraska-Kearney to continue his football career. Harris announced his entry into the portal in October.

“The past 3 years have been nothing short of an experience. That being said, I’m proud to announce I will be entering the transfer portal for my last two years of eligibility. I truly thank all my Brothers, Coaches, and Nebraska Family that had my back from day one. I’ll keep y’all updated on what’s next!”

Harris will be reunited with Ryan Held, the head coach at Nebraska Kearney. Held coached running backs at Nebraska from 2018-21. He completed his first season at Nebraska-Kearney with a 3-8 record.

The Omaha native spent three seasons at Nebraska and did not see the field. He committed to Nebraska after a stellar high school career at Millard South.
