The Chicago Bears (5-9) suffered a gut-wrenching defeat to the Cleveland Browns (9-5), 20-17, on Sunday. It was the third game this season where Chicago has blown a 10-plus point fourth quarter lead, tied for most in NFL history.
While the Bears defense had another dominant effort, led by Montez Sweat’s 2.5 sacks, they weren’t able to compensate for a struggling offense that managed just 10 points, including one touchdown set up by Eddie Jackson’s interception return on the 1-yard line.
