New Aggie Football coach Mike Elko is slowly assembling his staff with a mixture of Duke assistants, current staff, and poaching from other programs. A huge position of need was an upgrade to the teams’ health as, over the Jimbo era never seemed to keep his top contributors on the field.
In the early days of the Elko, takeover rumors swirled that he would bring lauded Duke Strength and Conditioning coach David Feeley, which was well received. We found out very shortly after that report that Feeley, in fact, was not going to follow Elko to Aggieland.
That “loss” led to the hire of long-time LSU strength coach Tommy Moffitt and has been seen as a homerun hire that should pay off immediately. Moffitt recently sat down with SNAPS host Aaron Murray and T-Bob Hebert to discuss what he’s been up to and how to take A&M to the next level.
