The Tennessee Titans suffered an embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday, dropping the Week 15 game to their division rival in overtime, 19-16.
Not only did Tennessee fail to beat a team that was without some of its best players, including quarterback C.J. Stroud, but Tennessee gift-wrapped the game to Houston via a missed extra point and a terrible performance all around from the offense.
“We just couldn’t get it done,” quarterback Levis said, per Jim Wyatt. “It felt like we never really got rolling. We had a couple of drives where we had spurts here and there, but the rest of the day it just felt like we got up to the ball and we just didn’t have that same confidence. We’ve got to keep doing a better job of everyone focusing on their job and focusing on their keys, but we can’t have a day offensively like that.”
This game was hardly Levis’ fault. Sure, he made some mistakes, but he also had awful pass protection and his offensive coordinator, Tim Kelly, called an all-time bad game.
Now, a look at what else the Titans had to say about Week 15.
