Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback [autotag]Baker Mayfield[/autotag] was perfect Sunday afternoon… Literally.
The Bucs (7-7) defeated the Green Bay Packers (6-8) 34-20 Sunday to improve to .500. Mayfield was the first quarterback ever to have a perfect passer rating (158.3) at Lambeau Field.
The 28-year-old quarterback threw for 381 passing yards and four touchdowns. He was dialed in early and connected with his favorite target, Mike Evans, for a 19-yard touchdown at the beginning of the second quarter.
Mayfield found Rachaad White at the beginning of the second half for his second score and connected with unlikely targets, Ko Kieft and David Moore, who recorded their first touchdowns of the season, for his final two touchdowns.
Mayfield became the third quarterback in NFL history to record over 375 passing yards, four touchdown passes and a 158.3 passer rating in a road game. Sunday’s game marked the first time he’s thrown for a perfect passer rating and the fourth time he’s thrown four touchdowns in a game.
My goodness.
