Every week, Matthew Stafford makes a throw that leaves you in awe. It didn’t take long during Sunday’s game against the Commanders for him to make one of those throws.
In the second quarter, Stafford threw an absolute dime to Tyler Higbee along the sideline on a key third-down play. The throw was in a perfect spot, but the way he uncorked the ball was what made the play so impressive.
Stafford was standing flat-footed and unleashed a sidearm bullet to his tight end for a first down and 14-yard gain. It doesn’t get much better than this.
