The Nebraska Cornhuskers football program continues to build towards 2024 and on Friday they received a major boost on the defensive side of the ball. Huskers linebacker John Bullock has announced via Instagram that he will be returning to the Huskers for a sixth season in 2024. The former walk-on was put on scholarship by Matt Rhule last offseason.
Bullock’s Instagram post had the location of “I’m Back” and the caption “Unfinished business,” to accompany a slideshow of pictures including one of him towering over Illinois quarterback Luke Altmyer following a sack.
The Omaha, Nebraska native just finished his fifth season with the program, starting 10 of the Huskers’ 12 games, recording 50 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and two passes defended.
