Does Brandon Staley deserve to be fired after that awful loss to the Raiders?

Brandon Staley’s hot seat went from scalding already to surface-of-the-sun hot on Thursday night thanks to the Las Vegas Raiders blowing out his Los Angeles Chargers 63-21.

Besides a sad halftime interview from the embattled head coach, there were calls for him to be fired … at halftime.

So of course Staley was asked if he expected to be coach of the Chargers on Friday. His answer? It was four words: “I don’t know that.”

But then, when asked if he should be, he came back and argued that, yes, he should be, followed by some coach-speak about what he’s capable of and getting his team ready for the next game.
