[autotag]Mikaylah Williams[/autotag] has been a revelation so far as a true freshman for LSU’s women’s basketball team, but she also received some recognition this week for her efforts in international competition.
Williams has been named the 2023 USA Women’s Basketball 3×3 Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Earlier this year, she led Team USA to a 7-0 record and its fifth-straight gold medal in the U18 3×3 at the FIBA World Cup in Hungary.
She was named the Most Valuable Player in that tournament, marking the third year in a row she received that honor as she led the tournament in overall scoring.
All she does is win.
