Tom Brady will finally take part in Netflix comedy roast next year

It’s time for Tom Brady to get roasted with a Netflix comedy special.

Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady is finally ready to take part in a comedy roast of his life and career.

As part of 2024’s Netflix is a Joke Fest, Brady will take part in the long-awaited G.R.O.A.T., which stands for “The Greatest Roast of All Time,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

The idea of a Brady roast was first presented by Netflix last year with a 2023 date attached, but it now will take place next spring during the festival.

The event has been set for Saturday, May 5, in Los Angeles at The Forum. “Roastmaster General” Jeff Ross will emcee the event as he has for many similar events on Comedy Central.

THR says will feature “Brady’s famous friends and frenemies” joining in to poke fun at the NFL veteran, which probably means that Peyton and Eli Manning and Rob Gronkowski will be there.

Tickets for the Brady roast are on sale at Ticketmaster for the public on Friday, while presale begins on Thursday.

If you’re a Patriots fan and don’t want to hear jokes about former New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree’s Super Bowl catch, don’t tune in for this.

For the rest of us who can’t be there in person, THR notes that Netflix will record the event for a probable release on the platform.
