At halftime, the Cleveland Browns hold a 14-7 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars. This has much to do with the connection through the air that quarterback Joe Flacco and tight end David Njoku have had on the day. The turnovers created by cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. have certainly helped as well. Even guard Joel Bitonio is getting in on the fun.
After the second Njoku touchdown, the Browns had a highlight celebration. Usually after a score, Njoku does his signature Chief Slam celebration. This time, however, Bitonio got the honors of doing the signature slam.
Despite all of the injuries this team has suffered this season, they continue to show how tightly knit of a group they are. Two of the longest-tenured Browns in Bitonio and Njoku have been a huge part of that culture being built in Cleveland.
As the Browns lead the Jaguars, it is great to see them have some fun in the endzone.
