If you’re looking for tough football players, look no further than former Tiger and current Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
In their Monday night loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last week, Lawrence suffered a right high ankle sprain and needed to be helped to the locker room. In many situations, a high ankle sprain means multiple weeks of recovery, but not for Lawrence.
After testing his ankle out in warmups, the Jaguars have announced that Lawrence will start today against the Cleveland Browns. Lawrence is going to tough it out as his team looks to hold onto first place in the AFC South, which has been a very competitive division this season.
Official: Jaguars announced that Trevor Lawrence, who suffered a high ankle sprain six days ago, will start today vs. the Browns.
