[autotag]RFK Racing[/autotag] has been in the news cycle for several reasons in 2023. The organization took a step in the right direction performance-wise by winning three NASCAR Cup Series races. Also, the introduction of a third part-time car, which David Ragan will drive in the 2024 Daytona 500, was a big announcement. Now, RFK Racing has another plan up its sleeves.
According to RFK Racing co-owner Brad Keselowski through NBC Sports, the organization wants to expand into IMSA sometime in the future. Unfortunately for fans who want to see this happen sooner rather than later, RFK Racing will focus more on a third entry in the Cup Series. Then, Keselowski and company will look to join the road course series.
Overall, it would be a great move as new-era NASCAR organizations are expanding into other racing series. Trackhouse Racing announced in early December that it would field an entry in MotoGP for the 2024 season, and now RFK Racing is talking about IMSA. It may take some time but RFK Racing’s addition to IMSA would be a massive story.
