Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert has already earned his $1 million in incentives for 2023

RB1 has earned some extra money.

The Miami Dolphins signed running back Raheem Mostert to a two-year contract this past offseason worth $5.6 million but could get to $7.6 million due on incentives ($1 million in each year).

The 31-year-old needed to gain 600 offensive yards to make $500,000 and 900 offensive yards to make another $500,000. This season, Mostert has already hit both thresholds to earn his incentives, paying him an extra $1 million.

Mostert hit 600 yards in the team’s Week 6 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, and he hit 900 yards in the Black Friday win over the New York Jets.

The former Purdue Boilermaker had only passed the 900-yard mark twice in his career, one of which was his first season in Miami.

Now that Mostert has earned his incentives, he has his eyes on the franchise record for rushing touchdowns in a season –  a record that he could break in the coming weeks.
