LeBron James will not miss a Laker game to attend Bronny James’ USC debut on December 10

LeBron will not have to miss a Laker game in order to attend Bronny’s USC debut.

You might have heard that Bronny James is likely to make his USC and college basketball debut on Sunday, December 10, versus Long Beach State. There are several noteworthy aspects of that date. One is that LeBron James will not skip a Los Angeles Laker game to attend his son’s anticipated USC debut.

As LeBron Wire noted, LeBron James had strongly indicated he would indeed skip a Laker game if it was on the same date as Bronny’s USC debut. December 10 is free of such conflicts.

LeBron and the Lakers are playing in the Las Vegas in-season tournament championship game Saturday night against Tyrese Haliburton and the red-hot Indiana Pacers. There are no games on the Sunday NBA schedule in order to serve as a buffer between the end of the in-season tournament and the resumption of the rest of the NBA season. LeBron can fly from Vegas to Los Angeles and easily make Bronny’s game on Sunday afternoon in the Galen Center.

The James family wins. Now let’s see if USC can win and begin the process of improvement it will need to firm up its resume after recent losses to Oklahoma and Gonzaga.
