University of Florida athletics sets all-time high NCAA graduation success rate

Yet another reason it is great to be a Florida Gator!

The NCAA Graduation Success Rates were released on Wednesday with the University of Florida coming out on top in the aggregate data for the second-straight year.

The released data demonstrates that student-athletes who matriculate in Gainesville had a 95% chance of walking with their diploma in the most recent cycle. That number is above NCAA Division I’s overall GSR of 91% – the highest rate recorded in the 20-plus years the GSR has been recorded.

Men’s and women’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, softball, women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s track and field/cross country and volleyball were the 13 programs that are above or equal the national average for their sport.

Additionally, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, softball, men’s and women’s tennis and volleyball were among the 10 teams posting a perfect 100 GSR in this report — a school high.
