Tennessee redshirt freshman offensive lineman Addison Nichols entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday.
“After much consideration, I have decided to enter the transfer portal,” Nichols announced. “I look forward to seeing what my next chapter holds.”
The 6-foot-5, 327-pound Nichols appeared in 14 games for the Vols from 2022-23.
He appeared in every contest this season, while playing against Ball State and UT Martin in 2022.
Nichols came to Tennessee from Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia.
Student-athletes can enter the NCAA transfer portal from Dec. 2 until Jan. 2, 2024. Players can also enter the NCAA transfer portal from April 15-30, 2024.
