Now that week 13 has passed, there are just five weeks left in the National Football League regular season. The result of each game holds a lot of weight in terms of the playoff race.
One of the biggest games of the season saw the San Francisco 49ers destroy the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 42-19. It’s not only important in the race for the number one seed, but the 49ers now have the tiebreaker over the 10-2 Eagles and 9-3 Dallas Cowboys after beating them by a combined 83-29.
The Green Bay Packers also made things interesting with an impressive win over the Kansas City Chiefs. That moves them to 6-6 and things start getting really interesting in the NFC playoff picture. Meanwhile, the Chiefs fall to 8-4 and could be the fourth seed by the end of Monday night’s game b between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cincinnati Bengals.
With just the aforementioned Monday night game to go, the power rankings saw some major changes.
