Michigan took care of business against the Iowa Hawkeyes as expected in the Big Ten Championship. The Wolverines blanked their Big Ten counterparts, 26-0 to secure a third straight conference trophy.
The two schools combined for just 368 yards of offense and 20 first downs. The Wolverines capitalized on three fumbles to help generate 10 points of offense. One came on the six-yard line and that one-play drive ended with a Blake Corum touchdown. Another second-half fumble set the Blue and Maize up at the Iowa 18-yard line. James Turner booted one of his four field goals through the uprights from 36 yards out.
