Mbake had not received much playing time on offense in his two seasons with the team after signing as a four-star recruit out of Georgia. He was an effective special-teams player, especially in his first collegiate season, 2022, where he played 72 snaps
As such, the depth of Arkansas’ wide receiving corps did not take much of a hit. Heading into the offseason, though, some other Razorbacks wideouts have some decisions to make.
Last year, the Razorbacks lost their top four wide receivers. Matt Landers and Jadon Haselwood turned professional while Ketron Jackson and Warren Thompson both transferred.
That could be the case again in 2023’s offseason.
