The Philadelphia 76ers paid a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday as they looked to put a stop to the 2-game losing skid they were on entering the contest. The Thunder offer up a ton of challenges and the Sixers knew they were going to have a battle on their hands entering the matchup.
In what ended up being an entertaining game between the two teams, the Sixers walked away with a 127-123 win over the Thunder on the road. Philadelphia halted its losing skid and finished 1-1 on a quick two-game road trip. Joel Embiid was terrific as he led the Sixers with 35 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, and four blocks.
Tyrese Maxey had 28 and eight rebounds, Nic Batum had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists to go along with two blocks, and Tobias Harris had 16 points, six assists, and five rebounds. De’Anthony Melton added 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists while Patrick Beverley had six, four rebounds, and four assists and Robert Covington added nine off the bench.
