After a loss on Thursday to Villanova, the North Carolina Tar Heels are now 4-1 on the early season. It was a hard-fought game from both sides as they went back-and-forth for most of the second half despite UNC holding a nine-point lead at one point.
Villanova was able to close out the game late in overtime with a few big plays, giving the Tar Heels their first loss of the season.
As UNC moves forward with conference play over the next month, this is a game they can learn from. And potentially one that could help them down the line.
