USC football offers top North Dakota prospect, defensive lineman Kade Pietrzak

USC goes to North Dakota for defensive line help.

Kade Pietrzak is very much in demand on the recruiting trail. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive lineman and No. 1 prospect in the state of North Dakota (West Fargo High School) has received an offer from USC.

Pietrzak has other offers from Arizona State, Ball State, Central Michigan, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, North Dakota State, and Wisconsin.

This season Pietrzak had 19 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble in only three games. He was injured most of the 2023 season.

The North Dakota native has made quite a few visits this fall already. His recruitment has taken off. Since the beginning of September, he has made visits to Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, and Minnesota.

The 2025 class recruit is ranked as the No. 41 defensive lineman and No. 1 overall prospect in the state of North Dakota as previously mentioned.

USC could get a significant piece on its defensive line and provide its new defensive coordinator with a productive worker-bee athlete who has a nose for the ball. The Trojans have to nail more recruitments. This is a possible source of improvement for a defense which has hit rock bottom.
