The 49ers on Monday didn’t hold a practice because of the short turnaround ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Seahawks in Seattle. They did send out a projected participation report that didn’t come with a lot of good news.
Neither of San Francisco’s starting guards would have taken part in Monday’s session with left guard Aaron Banks dealing with a toe injury and right guard Spencer Burford nursing a knee issue.
The knee injury is new for Burford which isn’t a particularly good sign for the second-year guard. San Francisco doesn’t have a ton of depth on the interior so if Banks can’t come back in Week 12 and Burford is out it could be a real problem for the 49ers in a huge NFC West game.
Among the projected limited participants were defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (knee), wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud (ribs) and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles (shoulder).
Tuesday’s session will give a better indication of what the team’s health situation will be Thursday night.
